About Us

Our office is located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of East 42nd Ave. and Laural Street, just down the street from the Blood Bank. After being in practive for almost 10 years at our original location, we have recently moved to our present building. It is a warm and relaxing therapeutic office. We have expanded to include on-site X-ray, two exam/treatment rooms, two therapy rooms, a larger waiting room, and a rehabilitation center.

Our mission at Alaska Healing Arts Chiropractic is to provide affordable, high-quality care to people of all ages. We strive to not only correct a person's health problems, but to educate and enlighten people so that they do not encounter similar problems in the future.

Serving you:

Robert C. Nielsen, MSW, DC

Gaduated with honors from Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los Angeles in 1993; graduated with honors with a B.A. degree from the University of Utah in 1977 and received a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Utah in 1981. Worked as a Clinical Social Worker in various Psychiatric settings and had a private Psychotherapy practice for over 12 years.
Dr. Nielsen specializes in conservative foot care through Chiropractic and prescription foot orthoses.

Treeka A. Sullivan, DC, FICPA

Graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los Angeles in 1994. She was a Massage Therapist for over 25 years until she received her DC degree. She has completed post-graduate studies in Chiropractic Pediatrics and received an FICPA Certification in 2000. Dr. Sullivan was the first certified Chiropractic pediatric specialist in Alaska. She is also certified in the Webster Turning Technique.

Liz Dowler, PhD,CPE,OTR,CRC

Dr. Dowler provides occupational therapy, rehabilitation, Pilates, fitness evaluations and customized personal fitness programs.

We accept all Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express as well as debit cards. We offer discounts for students, the elderly and active military. We also accept Denali Kid Care.
We will also workout payment plans, if necessary.
